Your choice depends on your current situation and which test you need.
Examen Hubs
If you already have a fertility specialist referral or are simply curious about your fertility status, Examen’s Hubs provide a dedicated service to either produce or drop off your sample and have it sent to Examen for testing.
Partner Clinics
These clinics are professional fertility centres across the UK and Europe that have integrated our SDF testing service into the treatment protocols for their patients.

Onsite Sample Production (Recommended)
Most Examen Hubs provide dedicated facilities for you to produce your sample onsite.
Off-Site/Home Production *
Selected Hubs also allow you to produce your sample at home and then drop it off at the Hub (we will send you a home production kit for your sample).
* Your sample must be dropped off at the Hub within 30 minutes of production, and no longer than 50 minutes as the absolute maximum.
Referral & Documentation
If you have been referred for an Examen test by your GP or fertility practitioner, you must bring your referral letter with you to your appointment. This is essential to make sure your referring clinician is accurately included on your Test Request Form.
Receiving Your Sperm DNA Test Results
If your Sperm DNA Fragmentation (SDF) test was arranged through a clinic, GP, or fertility specialist, your results will be sent directly to them. They’ll go through your report with you and explain what the findings mean for your individual fertility journey.
If you ordered the test yourself, your report will be sent directly to you. Please note the report will not include clinical interpretation, but we can put you in touch with a qualified fertility specialist who can talk you through your results and answer any questions*.
